Get Ffres at the Weekend - or any other time!

Are you a food producer or do you serve local produce to your guests? If so, you need to sign up to Ffres!

Ffres is a web based community designed to showcase the food tourism sector across South West Wales.

The Ffres website has changed quite a bit recently. It is now more consumer facing, enabling not only food producers and hospitality providers to promote their businesses but also any members of the public can use the site too. The site has a host of information for example a supplier contact details list, recipes, gallery, events listing, seasonal charts, live forum and articles and much more!

On a monthly basis Ffres will be concentrating on a 'featured supplier' section, which includes an article on a seasonal supplier, a 'food focus article' which includes an article about a seasonal food group and also a 'news feature' which will highlight an article of news, whether it is an event or something seasonal for the month.

Don't forget to get in touch with us if you have any interesting stories that can be included in any of these sections! Please send your information through to lowriedwards@gallu.org.uk.

We have also taken on a PR Agent called Honey Communications who have been busy writing press releases and articles for us to try and promote the FFres Initiative and get more food producers, hospitality providers and consumers involved!

If you who have not yet registered on the site, it is Free and very simple just log onto www.ffres.org.

As the site is gaining more consumer interest it is even more important that your profiles and information is as accurate as possible.  If you have any queries about updating your information, please get in touch.

The newsletter goes out on or around the 10th of every month, if you have an article or something you want to share, extra to posting it on the Forum please send your information through to lowriedwards@gallu.org.uk by no later than the 30th of the month before.

Ffres is a place where you can come to find about food producers and hospitality providers, establish better links, learn what's going on in terms of promotions and events, search for seasonal recipe ideas and find out about seasonal local produce in the area. It's a place to find out about businesses who share the principles of Ffres in bringing you good quality locally sourced produce.

Ffres arrange a variety of food related events and workshops, if you would like to see a particular topic covered please let us know!

For further information about the project please contact Lowri Edwards on 07977 989723.
